Same deal on a trail in Sedona , AZ a few weeks back. Pass a guy and his girlfriend and he's wearing a Clemson hoodie.
I say "Go Tigers" , as required by law ...and he smiles and says nada....keeps on walking down the mountain.
My GF and I both had the same thought...NEWB.

To be honest… it’s really awkward when people say “go tigers” to me.
Like, why would I be obligated to say the same thing back?
I usually just weirdly say “yeahhhh….”

Yeah I only say "Go Tigers" to someone if I see them far away in an unexpected spot, like Spain, Bangkok, or even anywhere that isnt in the South. Never in any area where Clemson fans are common.
