What? Why did Texans go for 2?

Unable to watch. Just tracking on ESPN. Up 7 with an extra pt away from making it 8. Why go for 2. 6+1 is a whole lot easier than 6+2.

They missed an XP earlier. The chance to effectively end the game with a single play. And they had the play, just a great job by the DL to deflect the pass.

Do Texans coaches get tested for stupidity?

You kick it and then force them to go for 2 if they score.
Wow, just wow.

exactly. that was just bone-headed. I don't care what the analytics say. Analytics should say that going up by 8 wins you the game, almost every time.

Idk I kinda like the call. Do you trust a Texans D to stop a 2 point conversion more than you trust their O to score one??? Their D is garbage.

Single play to win the game.
In most situations I think you kick the XP, but when you've missed one already, and you're playing against Derrick Henry, I like the win-it-now call. I imagine the thinking is that if you give up the 1 minute TD drive, you stand less chance of stopping Henry on the 2 pt conversion than you do of making your own 2 pt conversion.

I think the chance of them making the 2 pt conversion was better than their chance of stopping Henry on a 2 pt conversion.
