Per Colin Cowherd tonight

ACC and SEC will announce that they will delay their seasons next week. The concern is with 300+ pound linemen.
Don't shoot the messenger.

He wants those clicks, surprisingly Paul FinaEarsbulmb didn’t get in on the act claiming Dabo said so!

If they do, they made the right choice. No sense in endangering people over a game. Better to proceed with caution and go from there.
Ill miss football but its the smart play.

I somewhat agree with Lawrence in that these kids should be allowed to have access to the resources they were being given, even if they do not play, for the reason that they get excellent healthcare and nutrition, and are safer getting tested every couple of days. For some of these guys being sent home is a bigger risk to their family's and their own health.

I agree. Definately these kids deserve the best care they can get regardless of whether we play or not.

If they don’t play schools won’t be able to afford testing much longer. And many will go home because most are doing online classes. Many may stay and work out but a lot will say what’s the point anymore. Their dreams and goals will be taken from them by snakes in suits

Why does everyone keep saying “...if they get sent back home....”
They aren’t going back home either way. School is about to start. They’ll be at CU until the end of the school year.

Reply was sound, rebuttle: more hyperbole & rhetoric about kids dropping dead on the field + a naive statement proclaiming "all about the money" or some close facsimile. It is testament to their mastery of propaganda: delivered daily reported as news, accepted as truth, can anchor & influence opinion. They've made a science of misguiding the public, through wizardry of key word influence, misdirection, rewording, and variety of nefarious methods & techniques, much like a grifter or con.

But they’re not morbidly obese. There’s a lot of muscle mass. Their cardio-vascular is likely the strongest it will be in their lives. I’m aware of 1 lineman with diabetes. Are there really more?

I was talking about that last week. A lot of technically obese players. Probably some diabetes etc. Where did you see Colin Cowherd at night though?

None of us wants to see anything happen to any player, but this fall, next spring or next fall, there are still going to 290 lb plus linemen and coronavirus around.
Protect all the players the best as is possible and let's all move on with life looking after each other.

Somebody Is Wrong

Chatter all over Twitter tonight about Big 10 parents writing letters and demanding answers. Even talk of Big 10 teams resuming seasons. The quick saliva test is being called a game changer. Cheaper. Faster. 90 percent accurate. Even talk of fans taking the test several hours before games.
