Tucker Israel tweets "home visit today #Allin"

Dec 4, 2014, 7:01 PM

"Disappointed"

Don't think we could have possibly pulled his offer??

Re: Tucker Israel tweets "home visit today #Allin"

Dec 4, 2014, 7:03 PM

Why would we pull his offer?

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Idk I don't see a reason with him and Kelly coming next year

Dec 4, 2014, 7:04 PM

having 3 QBs on the roster is a good spot, we saw that this year.

The two tweets just seemed weird, he didn't tweet about the visit at all.

Dec 4, 2014, 7:04 PM [ in reply to Re: Tucker Israel tweets "home visit today #Allin" ]

I think sometimes we forget that these football players are kids and have life outside of football. Not all tweets are about football. Now he may be disappointed that Chad is gone, but I don't see him following him to such a bad team. It will take Chad years to fix them.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

could be something not football related

Dec 4, 2014, 7:04 PM

I know it's hard to believe these recruits have a life outside football

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Of course, he just hadn't tweeted anything about the visit

Dec 4, 2014, 7:04 PM

until this tweet. Was just wondering if anyone had any info.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I have no idea why we would

Dec 4, 2014, 7:04 PM

We are thin at QB next year. Watson is the only one returning with quality playing time.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

exactly what I was thinking, hoping the tweets are unrelated***

He's given an interview stating he's ALL IN

Dec 4, 2014, 7:10 PM

since Chad's depature. Tweet most likely has nothing to do with FB.In fact, hasn't every single committed recruit stated they're ALL IN after Chad's departure ? Nothing to worry about here.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe they had to.....

Dec 4, 2014, 7:15 PM

change the visit to another day? Or, the tweet could be completely unrelated to football.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Maybe they had to.....

Dec 4, 2014, 7:36 PM

It did have #Allin" still attached. The ( "Disappointed" ) probably didn't have a thing to do with us. His mother may have told him she was tired and going to bed without fixing dinner.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

could be about early enrollment, I know they are limited in

Dec 4, 2014, 7:15 PM

how many can enroll early because of numbers.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

good point, he did graduated last week I believe***

Dec 4, 2014, 7:16 PM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'd guess both QB's(Bryant & Isreal)

Dec 4, 2014, 7:20 PM [ in reply to could be about early enrollment, I know they are limited in ]

are on the ALLOWED TO ENTER EARLY LIST. We need both of them for the spring to get the BEST back QB we can next year.

Here's an interview

Dec 4, 2014, 7:16 PM

http://www.theclemsoninsider.com/2014/12/israel-weighs-in/

“It was just a matter of time before it was going to happen. I’m happy for him. I’m happy for him to get a head coaching job. I know he was wanting to get back in Texas with his family and pursue a head coaching job, so I think SMU is a great fit for him.”

Israel added, “Just speaking with him, I knew that he had the desire to be a head coach one day. The opportunity came along and he totally deserved it.”

Prior to the official announcement on Tuesday, Israel was aware of the plan to name Jeff Scott and Tony Elliott as co-offensive coordinators.

“I have a pretty good relationship with coach Elliott and I definitely have a great relationship with coach Scott, so that’s a positive for me,” Israel said. “It’s not going to be a big change of pace. I think they’re going to run a similar kind of offense to what coach Morris had there when he was there, so it shouldn’t be too much of a change-up.”

Re: Tucker Israel tweets "home visit today #Allin"

Dec 4, 2014, 7:26 PM

I would almost be willing to bet that most of our recruits knew the Chad was leaving actually before our team knew for sure. That's something that you would want to start working on damage control before it actually happens.

Calm down. He didn't win an award is all it meant.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If Bryant stays healthy

Dec 4, 2014, 8:45 PM

I don't see Israel ever playing. Bryant is light years more talented than him and way better fit for the offense

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hope he has a chance to prove himself - Kelly might be

Dec 4, 2014, 8:52 PM

better at another position like wide-out?

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No, Bryant is a great QB

Dec 4, 2014, 8:54 PM

and is very talented. He will be the man after Watson is done, kid is a freak, go watch both their high light videos, you can see a huge difference

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: No, Bryant is a great QB

Dec 5, 2014, 7:41 AM

Thanks for the insight into his greatness Bryanttiger. Hmmmmmm. ;)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Injury, just like with DW, is the scare for me with this guy

Dec 4, 2014, 10:37 PM [ in reply to If Bryant stays healthy ]

He's a DW equal from what I've been told, including his physical disposition. I was hoping DW would be RS and fattened up and am hoping the same for Bryant. Then again, I'm clueless and have no idea if it'd help either way. But injury is my worry with K Bryant.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Maybe

Dec 4, 2014, 9:20 PM

He went to the kitchen to make cereal. Poured in the frosted flakes only to open the fridge and see no milk...that's dissapointment

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Maybe

Dec 4, 2014, 9:31 PM

What I know about Israel is he is extremely accurate with the football , throws all the passes well , has a deft touch in lose and can sling it long really really well.
Owns the Florida HS passing yardage all time record and the Total TDs record as well . If Bryant is your bet to start because he is so much better than this kid at the position , fine ...but I hope he is some sort of Deshaun 2.0 because Israel will be hard to beat out in my opinion.

Re: Maybe

Dec 4, 2014, 10:27 PM

Bryant led Abbeville to the 2A title game his sophomore year as a dominate dual threat QB. He was the best quarterback in a option offense I have seen in a while. The next year when he transferred Abbeville seemed lost on offense. At Wren he was lights out in a air raid offense, this kid is of a similar mold as Watson. Only question is does he have that "it" factor that all great qbs have. I think so, but only time will tell. I think its gonna be awesome to have two freshmen constantly pushing each other in practice.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes he has the It factor, saw him twice live this year

Dec 4, 2014, 10:32 PM

the kid is a star in the making like Watson. Kid has great talent and is a better fit than Israel for this offense. Both a very good, but Bryant looks better on film, in what you need for this offense.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Yes he has the It factor, saw him twice live this year

Dec 4, 2014, 10:41 PM

A good backup is someone who is almost as good as your starter, and the same type of player, Bryant is. I hope we redshirt Bryant next year and have aextra year with him after Watson, because I believe he can have similar success as Watson. The kid needs some fine tuning, but most freshman do. I believe Bryant will be a great addition to our QB stable.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Israel has set many records in Florida which is saying

Dec 4, 2014, 11:44 PM [ in reply to Re: Maybe ]

a lot. Believe he plays in 6A. He will definitely be an excellent QB for the Tigers. Can't wait to see him in action.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Since you follow him on Twitter you would have seen

Dec 5, 2014, 1:32 AM

Here's what happened.... seriously...

Dec 5, 2014, 2:00 AM

He didn't get Gatorade POTY. With his numbers I get it. He's a worthy candidate. And I'm glad nobody brought up him saying how he doesn't wanna be Bells roommate. Cause that's a funny joke about how Bell can't cook. And seriously, given the pictures, he can't cook...
