Get used to it, and it is really about MONEY!! 💰 💵 💷 💰

It will not end here. Desperate schools will offer untested freshmen big bucks from day one.
It started with 5 ⭐️ star players like Arch manning, now bidding wars for 4 stars ⭐️ star freshmen.
This is part of the reason Saban retired. Nothing a coach can do about it, except pay them more money!
Clemson will rarely win a bidding war with an SEC or Big 10 team.

Tough to get a kid to choose Clemson when other schools offer a freshman hundreds of thousands more.

Go Tigers! Go Dabo….

It might be because we suck and are in a free fall. You surround yourself with a bunch of losers, you too are probably a loser. Isn't that the old saying?

He’s not the first, and wont be the last to de-commit……. I get that the situation is different with the poor play of the team, but I dont think this means anything other than the dude thinks he can do better somewhere else, whether its better money, development, etc……. Maybe he was told by his agent he could cash in now, who knows…..

It means Dabo will settle for a project player, or family of some staff

Member. Clemson is always behind the 8 ball when a recruit goes somewhere else, due to not enough offers going out. Recruits obviously don't care about Clemson giving out fewer offers anymore. A Clemson offer doesn't mean as much as it did before, now that money's involved now.

Remember money has changed everything. If you go to the portal. You were not committed to where you were. Who can bid higher??? College football as we know and as Dabo tries to run Clemson football is over. We don’t have extrememe money like some but we got something real special. DABO

Clemson needs to go ahead and shut the football program down. Everyone committed will decommit now, all the current players will transfer, and there just aren’t anymore good players available. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I do not think it will come to all that, but, I do see some people transferring at the end of the year. I can fathom Wesco and Moore going elsewhere, because I havent seen anything out of Vizzinia as of yet. Vizzinia seems more a runner than a passer, but we shall see.

Without major changes as to how we operate the program this is the new normal. 2nd-tier ACC football hoping for 3rd-tier bowl bids. I'm definitely NOT continuing to spend 5 figures for that.

No surprise!!!! When you have a head coach who stands at a press conference who talks about leaving if the school is doesnt want him or if the school is " tired of winning " that he'll leave and go coach elsewhere. How do you expect a recruit to stay committed after hearing some " idiotic " statement like this from a head coach. This foolish act in conjunction with losing doesn't quite present a great environment that a top recruit would like to be in for the next 3-4 years.
