softball game or the baseball game on replay. I did not, at the time, know the score of either. Man, am I glad I picked softball to watch first! (Mostly because baseball started an hour later, and was not yet up on replay.) I happened to catch a whiff of the score of the baseball game, and thus saved myself watching us being embarrassed on our own field.

But, baseball is like that. I still remember years ago in the Coot series, they embarrassed us 21-5 in the opener. What happened next game? We embarrassed them right back, 18-6. In baseball, some days you are the windshield, some days you are the bug, and some days.....it rains.
