Last 5 years have been record sales and profits at my company…….. change in economy this year resulted in a slump……. Sales and profits below expectations……. If i came in and said, what’s the big deal, last 5 years have been awesome, they would fire me on the spot…
Those 5 years have bought us a little grace, but they expect us to have. A plan in place and to get back on track, fast, and I already know if we have another subpar year, we will be out…. That’s how the real world works….
I dont want Dabo gone, i want him to own it and fix it, and to stop talking about the past… we all know what you did and appreciate it…. Things change, its time for him to evolve and change, just like we are doing in my business…..

Well put. The sane fans don't want Dabo to go anywhere. Just own up to his mistakes and try to fix the issues. Stop tying his own arm behind his back by truly trying to adapt.
He sold the idea of going 16-0, and he talks of how great the team is which has helped create extreme expectations. Now he has to face being this close to falling short of them, and very quickly.

I'm honestly past the point of wanting him to take accountability. He's shown for a while now that he won't. Bc he won't, I'm ready to move on from a coach who won't do what's best for this program.

He's also accountable to the scoreboard. He knows it is hard to win games. He's not going to quit mid-season...hard to think about what he could say to anyone on these boards that would make them happy. All he has to do is find a way to beat Syracuse. Start there, then beat UNC, then beat BC...you get the point.

He has to do 2 things. 1. Say he knows what the problems are and they’re getting addressed; and 2. Show they are getting fixed on the field, during games.
We, as fans, know there are many problems, and the reasonable ones among us don’t expect them all fixed in a week. We want to know he’s not blind to them, and see progress.
