Weekend Series

I feel that we need to win the first 2 to take the series against USuC. If we split the first two games I feel pretty nervous with our pitching for Sunday. Hopefully Gossett and Crownover get much deserved wins!

and he will be tough to beat in Columbia in front of their home crowd. However, I think Clemson has the upper hand with Crownover and Long on Saturday in Greenville and Sunday in Clemson.

Gossett vs Montgomery. Still brings back memories of the state championship game between Byrnes and Sumter High, SHS won best of 3...with Montgomery beating Gossett twice. Tho I will say, Sumter had the best lineup from top to bottom in that matchup. I think the Goose will get some revenge tom night.

At least you're consistent Peanut ! Honestly I expect Montgomery to take the first game. Game 2 isn't a gimmie with Wynkoop either, but I do think you stand a better chance with him than you do Crowe. He's better than your Sunday guy

Tomorrow will be an excellent game with the tigers scoring late to win. Saturday will be a little more lopsided as I see Clemson winning 6-2. And Sunday, after I attend the basketball game, I will watch us take the sweep. 4 for 4 this wknd for the tigers.

Their Sunday starter is a true freshman, the crowd should make the difference. If he beats us at our place as a freshman, I don't look forward to facing him the next two years.
