Weak schedule or just too dominating?

Dec 8, 2019, 10:31 AM

After 13 hours of football team only trailed for total of 11 minutes and 20 seconds! 555 - 138 points. Think of what could have been if starters were playing instead of watching from sidelines for 5 hours or more. Best is yet to come.

BOTH

Even if FSU/VT were still what they were, Clemson would still stomp them

Both obviously. The ACC is awful and we have great coaching and talent.

The ACC is not awful

Dec 8, 2019, 11:16 AM

It's a combination of both. Clemson is just that good. Every conference w/o exception has bottom dwellers. The ACC is no different - no one talks about the other conference's bottom dwellers though. That's the difference!

**It's been said the ACC has a terrible record vs. the p5 but when I ask those people who constantly want to post that for the actual match up of teams - it gets ignored. You will see something like: "take Clemson out and the ACC is......" problem with that is you aren't taking Alabama out when they beat up on Duke for example. Or FSU playing Bama in a year FSU didn't even go .500 in the ACC. In short, if all the above .500 teams in the ACC are losing to these teams then maybe I get it. Louisville losing to Kentucky - i'll give you that as well. Surprised me and one where you could make a case for the conference being weak. But, it's not the pit of college football it's made out to be by a long long shot!
