Think we will have that much attrition?
The 9 seniors plus Trapp puts us at 10. Then Wilkins, Bryan, Ferrell, Cain, Hyatt, Van Smith maybe, who else?

Yea, we almost always underestimate our recruiting numbers. Unfortunately, some of this attrition might also come after NSD, so we might not be able to fill those spots.

If they have their degrees,Dabo is on record saying that the player/student nor the coaches owe each other the 5th year. It's case by case decision.

11 nfl departures/transfers to get to 20 would be a lot, but it's not impossible, and i think upper teens is probably likely.

Taylor Hearn (NFL) Ray-Ray McCloud (NFL) Kendall Joseph (NFL) Mark Fields (NFL) Tanner Muse (NFL)
Trevion Thompson (grad transfer) CJ Fuller (grad transfer) Jabril Robinson (grad transfer) Alex Spence (grad transfer)
QB
no way it all happens but that puts the number at 26

I see no reason for Hearn, Fields, or Muse to leave early for the NFL.
Joseph and McCloud you could make a case, more for Joseph than McCloud but I guess you never really know.

Football is more dangerous than the average job. It's silly to play for free, when you can earn a check at it.

It's silly to assume these kids are playing for free, when in fact they are getting paid via a scholarship so they aren't drowned with student loans.
In the case of Hearn, as a RS Jr he should have graduated so that would be fine for him to give a go at the NFL.
For Fields/Muse, they have not graduated to my knowledge as they are a Jr/RS Soph respectively. As they have also not shown talent, IMO, of an NFL player it would benefit them to receive one more year of free school, graduate, and then give a go at the NFL. That way they can obtain employment in the event that the rare opportunity to have a career in the NFL is obtained.
