Excerpt from Wikipedia bio on Brad Brownell:
"Wright State: Following the 2006 season, Brownell left UNC Wilmington to take the head coach's job at Wright State, where he made an immediate impact. In his first season at Wright State, Brownell led the Raiders to their first-ever Horizon League title, beating out nationally ranked Butler, coached by fellow DePauw graduate Brad Stevens, to capture both the regular season and tournament titles. The Raiders earned the 14th seed in the West Region, and lost in the first round of the 2007 NCAA tournament to Pittsburgh. The team's 23 wins was a school record on the Division I level. He was named the NABC District 10 coach of the year for being the best college coach in Ohio and Indiana.
Brownell remained head coach at Wright State through the 2010 season. His teams never finished lower than third in conference play, but he was unable to return the Raiders to postseason play. However, he did lead the team to three straight 20 win seasons."
Any of the above sound familiar? Taking the previous coaches team to the NCAA the first year, then not being able to sustain that? Winning 20 games, but not being good enough to make The Big Dance? History, unfortunately for us, is just repeating itself. It's Deja Vu all over again.

That’s the point. You have the option not to read it. He has the option to post it. What are you trying to accomplish by whining about it? And yes I’m whining about you whining and I’m ok with that.

them?
I agree, nothing we say at this point is likely to have any effect on us having to endure at least one more season of Brad Brownell at Clemson. But, we have to do SOMETHING to occupy our time until we reach the end of that basketball season, don't we? Trying to reason how we got ourselves into this mess in the first place is part of that.

…excellence”.
While Clemson’s past basketball historical failures cemented my belief that Clemson is ONLY a football school, I have always TEMPERED my enthusiasm for the men’s basketball program.
However, this LAST DEFEAT to Morehead State has just sent me “off the cliff”. Call it my Kevin Steele-West Virginia-Orange Bowl debacle moment.
After that Orange Bowl, I made a personal vow that I would NOT watch or attend another Clemson football game UNTIL Kevin Steele was no longer on the football staff.
After that embarrassment to Morehead State, the REPEATED new lows that the men’s basketball program continues to hit, makes me nauseous every time I think about it.
The change in the men’s basketball head coaching position at Clemson has to change before I ever watch another game.
