This FSU game is starting to remind me

of the 2003 season. FSU came in ranked #3 and Clemson unranked. The tigers played like they had nothing to lose. I think we are gonna see the them play loose and take a lot of chances against the Noles. FSU was the better team last year, but nobody will ever convince me that they were truly 51-14 better. So much to play for in this game and all goals are still possible. FYI we lost to UGA to start that season too! GO TIGERS!

It reminds me of 2003 too. Except the game at GT!

In 2003, we lost the opener to UGA badly and then had two warm-ups against lesser teams at home. In the fourth week, we were going on the road to face a Tech team that had beaten Auburn and nearly beaten FSU. GT's young quarterback brashly announced after the FSU loss that the Yellow Jackets would not lose again that season.

Final score: Clemson 39, GT 3

And it was a glorious night in Atlanta.
