Good morning everybody. How was your weekend?

Friday night, not much of anything. Just watched a movie.
Saturday went to the newphew's birthday part. Parents took him and his friends to one of those Skyzone type joints in the morning so the kids were tired and calm most of the day. Then the nerf war started.
Sunday, put the latest beer in secondary, did some laundry and mostly relaxed.

Busy

Friday: Got home, cut grass, unpacked. Got news that the buyers have turned around and on the same day as closing relisted the house at a loss.
Saturday: Got up early. Unloaded trash trailer. Moved furniture to the church. worked on washing maching/dryer stand. Finished unpacking. Worn slap out. Then wife's friends come over and stay until midnight. I was pissed. Also ran a vinegar cleaning run through my set up. Worked very well.
Sunday: Lazy morning. Was planning on doing nothing all day, just enjoy the house. That didn't last long. Wife wanted to go on a walk to meet people in the neighborhood. Terrible idea. anyways had kids coming and going the rest of the day. Mashed in a sugar run for next weekend. Wasn't going last night, will see tonight.
Edit: Also I cleaned the fish tank and put too much algae blocker in it and killed all of the fish except from the suction fish.

Friday and Saturday: Had family in town. Hung out with them and caught up. Ate great food in the process.
Sunday: Impromptu pool day after some friends invited us. Friend's father gave me a great cigar to smoke in the pool. Still tasting it this morning.

Friday: got a call from mom that they were putting her in the hospital. Her infection was not improving. Drive to Spartanburg from Gangland to help out.
Saturday: spent 3 hours visiting with mom and helping dad around the house.
Sunday: another 3 hours with mom at Mary Black. They seemed to have everything under control so she got to go home. Drove back to Gangland late. Dinner with ms midland.
Not sure how to rate this weekend. It was great getting to see mom and dad but the circumstances were not ideal.

Friday to a friends house WITHOUT KIDS for the first time in almost a year. Drank beers, sat by the fire, had kid-free fun, got drunk, came home and did what drunk adults do.
Up Saturday but wife feels kinda hungover so we are slow. Raining so no outside running so we head to the gym for the first time in 13 months. Hit the treadmill and remember that I hate a treadmill. Shopping for kid clothes and then home for dinner.
Sunday up for church and lunch, the grocery trip. Back home to uncover pool and cut grass then off to Riverwalk for a run and let the kids ride bikes. I also read an article about the amount of caffeine people consume and decided to cut back on coffee consumption because I was 4x the recommended daily dose of caffeine so I bought a pour over carafe to test that out. It is no Chemex, it is an offbrand, but I assume it will work as well. Home for dinner and some of that same stuff from Friday.
Up at 4:30 this morning to hit the gym with my brother, I'm going to be in a world of pain and sleepiness later.

Saturday was Moderna day. NOT a holiday btw.
Sunday washed clothes for kids, went on grocery run, cooked some darn good BBQ chicken, housework since wife's still laid up. Sunday we learnt our front yard was Flamingoed. Effin in laws got it first, passed it to wife's sister, who forwarded them to us. Some cancer fundraiser for Airport High School. Donate $20 and they come remove them. Another $20 you get to pick their next target. Sorry, but FB coach is out of their territory (will take any ideas for Lexington or Richland counties though).

Friday - went to dinner at Maki with wife-of. Netflix then sleep early...was a tough week.
Saturday - cooked a good breakfast (inside cause rain). Rained all day, so watched movies with the wife and took daughter-of back and forth to friend's house. blah
Sunday - went out solo to breakfast and had some me time. BS'd around the house, changed some hard-to-reach light bulbs, fiddled with pond, ordered some plants for pond and a treatment to see if I can get rid of the algae/green water, got a hair cut (large breasted hair cut lady no longer there, so that sucked), whipped son-of's #### in basketball, watched Saving Private Ryan with daughter-of, decided the weeds in my front yard have won and decided I need to call in some professionals, cooked steaks and taters for dinner, bed early.
5/10 meh's

Friday - flew back home from SC. Had a "run in" with the ol' law dog. No ticket was given, just some arguing and I wasn't shot or tased however the argument was good enough for a taser. Had take out for dinner. We were all in bed early.
Saturday - got up early and started working on the boat swim platform. Sanding and putting on/washing off teak cleaner. Took my son to baseball practice, then daughter to gymnastics, then daughter to swimming. Dinner we went out to a really great locally owned pizza/pasta/salad joint. Was in bed early again.
Sunday - got up and watched some church, went to the gym and got swole. Took kids to playground for a picnic and just chilling out as they ran around. Lazy afternoon. Dinner was a blend of Rinaldi's Hot Sausages, Grilled Chicken and Filet. We ate a ton and it was awesome...finally got to use the new patio. Top Golf from 8-10pm, then bar from 10-12............
Monday - I am really really tired.
9/10 - minus one point for it being chilly all weekend.

Mostly a nice weekend in spite of some weathers.

Friday, went to check on Mom after work since Sis was on her way back from Clemson...which means late because she's going to take the route back home with the most breweries on it. Back home and made pimento cheese, bacon, Portobello mushroom, onion, and spinach quesadillas. They were delish, as always. Ate two and drank a few beers, then inexplicably woke up in the Big Chair around 1:30 am to go to bed.
Saturday, coffee and the traditional Vinyl album Select-O-Pick with Mrs. Grabbed showers and headed up to Charlotte in driving rainstorm to get fitted for tux for Joonyer's wedding this summer because wanted to get that off the list. Then, the misery of following Mrs. around numerous stores so she could find clothes. Mrs. Tig doesn't like to shop and isn't good at it, and doesn't like to spend money to begin with. This is a great thing except when she has to go shopping...she's frustrated and ill the whole time and not much fun to be with. She came home empty handed because no store had dressing rooms open because trying on clothes is how the virus spreads. Back home to walk the dog, eat supper, grab bass and off to MEDIUM volume acoustic jam. We haven't had the acoustic group together in 3 weeks so I wasn't expecting great things, but turned out pretty good.
Sunday, slept in, up to drink coffee in a daze for an hour or so, then didn't really do much until lunch. Ate leftover pork chops and risotto, then off to grocery store. Back home and spent almost two hours tearing the house apart looking for hair clipper that I never did find. Gave up and rode over to visit Mom and Sis. Back home where Mrs. had breakfast steaks, yuca fries, and spinach salad ready to eat. Cleaned up kitchen, watched Fear The Walking Dead, then crashed.
18.85/19 Covids...playing music makes up for draggingass around Charlotte in a tropical squall all day Saturday.

Fri - slow day resulting from a bit of a hangover. Not much of note.
Sat - put some hardwood floors down at brother's house. Realized I'm too old and out of shape for this shidt. Hung out later at friend's house who is moving to Beaufort to be the director of HR for the county. Tired af from the laying of wood earlier so didn't get too crazy.
Sun - Woke up and laid more wood, but the redhead kind this time. Took two daughters for a walk at the city track and played at the park. Ate at Moe's. Went to golf course with wife and youngest chica to hit balls, chip, and drink beer. Ate pizza with wife, youngest, brother, SIL at Pizza Joint, medium pepperoni and more beer. Home and chilled with the wife after getting kid in bed.
8.35/10 pepperonis, pretty good weekend.

Fri - got wife's new desk / office area set up in the bonus room (she was in the room we're going to use as the nursery). cooked a steak. started watching Ted Lasso (phenomenal)
Sat - went to a crawfish boil in some trendy part of Nashville. good time
Sun - set up nursery, cleaned out other spare BR to get it ready for painting (all the nursery and other furniture boxes were still in there). finished up and cooked a burger
Flew through Ted Lasso - great show if you can find a apple+ log in to use.

Friday, I went to Home Depot and rented a tile saw, then I came home Sunday and prepped the kitchen backsplash wall for the new stacked stone. Saturday, I got up and started work on the install. I finished around 1:00, and then went out and had a few beers, and picked up a couple new yetis from the flagship store (they now have a color that is close to Clemson Orange) while I was out. Sunday, I got up and did cleanup/replaced faceplates. Pic of the new backsplash is attached, from when I finished the first half of it.

It falls probably in the Clemson-Florida Range. it's a bit brighter orange than I would have liked, but not terrible.

Not bad at all

Friday: had senior night with my team, always a bittersweet event. Love celebrating my players, hate to see the end draw nigh.
Saturday: up late, heard there was bad weather coming in, told the weather to miss me with that #### and it did. Played a few soccer games in the ton of Lexing, bought some bourbom between matches, was not mocked by clemsonrulez08®
Sunday: up early, tired af, back to Lexing's town, played last match, got home late, sat in the garage and watched TV. Now my daughter is begging me to go look at cars with her.

camping was cold but beautiful Thursday night, Friday was an amazing day then came the rain Friday night and mostly Saturday. Big tarp did the job covering the table and tent stayed dry. Cleared up Saturday night and Sunday was clear and dried stuff out
Great food, good beer, and dogs loved it

Typing that was more than I did.
Of course, I had stuff to do for my job, and the rain on Saturday made for a good, old fashioned coffee and keyboard kinda day.

I work hard during week so that weekends are unproductive

Got Covid shot #2 Friday afternoon. No severe flu like symptoms, but wrecked my sleep schedule which impacted the weekend. Kids lost a close game of little league baseball on Friday.
Saturday: Woke up 4a. Took dogs for early walk, had Chick-fil-a breakfast waiting on kids when they awoke, then took naps at 10a and 3p. Tried to find time outside with kids between rain. Traded in $120 worth of coins at Coinstar to replenish govt shortage. Didn't fall asleep until 3a that night.
Sunday: Woke up at 8a. Took a nap from 10a-1p. Took kids to playground and threw some ball. Watched kids collect a shid ton of pinewood derby trophies at year-end scout banquet. Wings for dinner. Didn't fall asleep again until 3a.
Not sure where I'll find time for a nap today.
