Go to Carter Stadium just once and you will never type said such message again.
There is just so much wrong with the little finger thingy they do, the Disney rejects they use for mascots, the chants, shootings at tailgates, obnoxious fans beyond measure.
They do have good traffic control leaving stadium. That they have going for them!

NC State is currently tied with Clemson for 1st place in the Atlantic. We need to win our division a LOT more than we need some odd, quirky historical stat about most wins over Top 15 teams in the AP era (or whatever).
If we win out, then the NCSU/L'ville game won't matter one bit. But, the season is still young and a lot can happen between now and the ACCCG. It is clearly to our advantage that L'ville beat NCSU.

NC State. The only thing that makes the better than the USuCk it that their mascot isn't a stupid friggin chicken. Other than that, the universities and fan bases are about equal.
NC State isn't winning out. They aren't that good. Doeron is still their coach.

We have already beaten 3 top 15 teams. It would look better if those prior wins don't fade by each of the teams getting bounced out of the rankings entirely. We don't need anymore ranked opponents on our schedule to make it any stronger. As long as we take care of business, we will take on another ranked opponent in the ACCCG and onto the playoff as the #2 seed assuming Alabama stays at one which they probably will if they don't lose. Being ranked at #1 or #2 really doesn't make any bit of difference, as we have made the NCG being ranked at both over the past two years.

the game will certainly help us. If we lose, then NCSU would have to lose twice in conference for us to have make the ACC-CG, and we probably would miss the playoffs. (What happened last year with t-OSU was a fluke.)
That being said, the higher NCSU is ranked etc., the better we'll play. At this point I'm more worried about us taking teams like Wake or 'Cuse for granted. Big road games seem to be an advantage for these guys.

Maybe an ugly Loserville win. We need to beat NC State and don't need to be thinking about other teams having to beat someone so we can come out on top. I don't see losing to NC State and having another day with a couple of top 5 teams losing happening again happening. Beat them all and we don't have to worry about it.

I regretted the trips I made to Carter-Finley. Once after Clemson lost, the idiots in charge only unlocked one exit gate. We had to stand in line to get out, and endure the nastiness of their fans while doing so. Hopefully, they lose every upcoming game.
