I’m as guilty as anyone of having taken the pre-season rat poison to heart and elevating my expectations way beyond where they should have been. The first 2 games have been a bit of a shock to my system. I lashed out in frustration and still feel an uneasiness about what comes next.

Having said this, the conference is the pathway to the playoffs and a chance to compete for a Natty. No reason to throw in the towel when we are still sitting 0-0 in the conference.

I think the GT game is either going to make me feel better or worse. I’m hoping the hangover lifts, the clouds part, and the light shines bright on our Tigers. Either the storm is over or we are just in the eye of the hurricane.

Here is to hoping the worst is behind us.

college football inside the 4 main conferences and notre dame is getting more and more like the NFL, NIL has created a way for the terrible teams to compete, no game is a "gimmie" the days of Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State playing 1 big conference game and plowing through the rest of the conference are long gone.

I seriously doubt ohio state is gonna go 5-0 against Illinois, Southern Cal, Oregon, Penn State and Michigan.

Bama is already on the ropes, Georgia, texas and LSU look a little shaky on offense

Clemson lookin shaky on offense. i dont know how it will shake out but my eyes tell me Miami, Florida State, Tennessee and Oklahoma look like playoff teams, i think texas tech as well.

Depending on what FSU, Miami and GT do this year, it could turn out that being in the ACC isn't such a detractor as it has been in past years.

Several up and coming programs in the conference that I think could make things very interesting. Only time will tell.
