I have had about three dozen calls today about some benefit or something. Majority of them could barely speak English.

cut off most of the time, but I've told them to send emails or messages on FB. For emergencies they can call the cops, who'll come find me.
I'm simply not going to put up with the incessant aggravation of the sales' calls. Honestly, I don't miss having the frigging device at the ready, because I lived for over 60 years until I bought my first one, spent $25 to buy and still pay $25 monthly for it. It's kind of old-fashioned: flip style with a rotary dial....and you have to call the Operator to place a call! lol

We kept getting calls early this week with them claiming Steve Harvey would arrive with our multimillion dollar check and we should dress up for the cameras. We didn't go to the 7-Eleven to get the cards and transfer the numbers to them. They promised they would return the amount back to our bank account after Steve left.

I get anywhere from 1 - 10 of these calls every day at work. "The government wants you to know..." When I tell them that we ARE the government (local, but still the truth) they panic and hang up quickly.

I do love when someone with a thick accent says their name is (insert common anglo-saxon name here). If they'd just be honest and say their name is Sanjay, I'd be more inclined to listen...but not really.
Actually I hear that the robo calls are moving to AI in order to sound more 'american' (or perhaps they have already...I wouldn't know as I don't pick them up). I'm going to miss those charming accents.....when they leave voice mail.

Spectrum mobile does a good job filtering and blocking spam calls. I literally haven't had one in over a month.

I just keep reporting them to Verizon via their app. 9 out of 10 are spoofed/fake numbers
