What's your worst tailgate "forgot it" on game day?

I have forgotten the flagpole and satellite dish on separate occasions. My tailgate neighbor forgot his liquor once but lived close enough to go home and retrieve it. Thanks to my wife I've never forgotten the tickets. There's the occasional food item as well.

I did too. There were two games left, UNC and SCAR. One set was light blue and one was red. I grabbed the light blue thinking it was the UNC tickets. WRONG!!

We had 12 Ribeye’s that had been marinating for 3 days , that I took out the refrigerator and put in a small cooler. Packed everything but left the little 12 pack Cool in the garage.
We still had plenty of food but dang was I pi ssed

My cooler with the tickets, liquor , and food. Luckily my godmother was there with plenty of food and 2 extra tickets. She still gives me hell about it to this day.

Actually I had loaded up the truck the night before and for some reason hopped in my suv the next am. There is always stuff in the back of it, so I didn't realize until I got to Clemson (was 2.5 hours away at the time). To this day, that's why I hate noon games. My brain isn't running on all cylinders that early in the am????

Made it al the way in to the edge of campus and realized I had left the tickets back home. It was tough to turn around with all the traffic coming in one way but we made it to our place on Lake Hartwell at Oconee Point and back before kick-off!

Forgot and rolled down my window with my new Tiger paw flag and it was whipped away in the traffic. Pulled off the road and managed to locate it but boy was I annoyed with myself.

back in the early 90's, I forgot the tickets at the hotel in Greenville. Fortunately, I had a numbered parking space. I left the wife with the two kids with plenty of money and went back in got the tickets. Got back in time to see the start of the game. My wife still reminds me of that on occasion. Fortunately, my kids were young.
