Does anyone here NOT use Amazon Prime?

1

Sep 29, 2023, 2:53 PM

I'm paying the bills for the month and they seem to be taking a lot of my money. Strangely, I haven't ordered anything from there in several months. My wife, however...

Almost everyone I know uses Prime. I assume this is true for yall?

I would be inclined to cancel to send a message but I fear that would lead to: 1) the same loss of money to Amazon, plus shipping; or 2) even more expensive trips to Target.

I never have aside, from watching Amazon Prime on TV for a couple of months. I don't have it anymore though.

Wasn't trying to put that comma in that spot.

Not since January last year.

Not worth $120 per year plus it's too easy to blow money on garbage. Don't miss it.

We have it, but it pays for itself when you have a wife and

2 daughters. 145 orders this year. And I can't stop them.

We get almost a package a day, sometimes multiple.

but Mrs No is a "well I can always return it" person, and returns a LOT. I figure it at least saves gas money.

My wife will 100% return clothes, though those mostly come

from other online retailers. I'll give her credit there.

Yesterday I asked the toddler how his day was and he told me about the packages being delivered...

yup - the only reason i have prime was for the 3 daughters.

never watch any shows on prime or stream from their music platform.
prime seems like a waste of money.

I for one am glad you are stopping. You are one of the most ignorant posters ever. You obviously think very highly of your own opinion, unlike the rest of us - RockHillTiger

I just got a charge for $5 for amazon music unlimited, that I absolutely did not sign up for. It's always been included with Prime, but I guess this is some kind of premium thing that automatically defaulted to "yes".

I spent 20 minutes trying to navigate through the app and website to cancel it, and they make it very difficult to do. When asked why I wanted to cancel I left a strongly worded reply.

Strongly worded.

Pretty good about refunding for stuff not used as well.

GO TIGERS!!

We do. A lot. I heard some stat on NPR related to the

anti-trust case, that it's some youge percentage of Americans use Amazon Prime, like 80+ percent of households. 150 million peeps.

We have it, but I have started to both price check

and order from Walmart if they have the same price. Lots of scum selling on Amazon. If it is not 'Prime', I will not order unless I CANNOT find it somewhere else.

That being said, we still do a lot and sometimes multiple orders a day. If we had to pay for shipping, I do think we would order less and do a better job of fewer orders.

But, I am lazy about this type of stuff.
