tour of facilities with my son who was a prospect, something that Clemson must do for the local guys who aren't really recruits. Had a great time....my take away:

1) Windy and cold!
2) Was most impressed during warmups based on size, speed, and enthusiasm by Ngata (please, Lord, let him stay healthy); and by KJ Henry. They stood out.
3) Some folks are bashing the OLine, but there were a couple of guys out there who could still be in high school, facing guys who will be in the NFL next year. I saw alot of positives based on the split teams, but there will be a challenge. Hip bend, leverage, and drive are not, and have not been, our strong suit. It's partially a function of our offensive scheme, but it's alot about fundamentals. I am sure that TA works on this daily.
4) Kind of like the OL, a freshman QB (outside of TL), cannot be expected to be markedly better than a multi-year player after 4-6 weeks of practice. I thought he was fine.
5) Front seven (and probably the entire D) is just stupid good.
6) Best punt that I have seen in six years by a Tiger. Who was that?
7) Smallest player I have ever seen. #36 - kicker. Kicked in to the endzone...bet he could win alot of bets.
8) I think this team is going to be terrific.
9) Did I mention that it was cold?
