We don't want Gameday on the 24th.
Nov 13, 2012, 9:08 AM
|
|
The last time we had gameday, it was a blast. It was a festive day and an all around great game atmosphere. Signs, balloons, music and face painting for the kids....fun for all.
The coot game this year is not about fun. I am full of hate and I want the Valley to be loud and reek of pain (picture storm clouds rolling in and lightning in the distance). I want it to be an absolute bloodbath. I don't want anyone to be festive about anything until the clock reads 0:00 and we have absolutely thrashed the coots - no one should even smile before then. We will cheer loudly but they will be war cries rather than cheers of celebration. I am not even sure if kids should be allowed in the stadium this year.
This game should not be remembered for how much fun it was to be in Clemson at 10:00 am. Other than the score, this game should primarily be remembered for how hostile the environment was for the opposition. Genuinely hostile.

I dislike the coots just as much as anyone else. That being said, I sincerely hope that everyone keeps their cool this year so we can show the coots that we are a class act school that doesn't feel the need to stoop to their level. Be loud, be proud, don't be an ***.

I think our team needs to get BACK the passion and will to win this game. Heck, it took dumb-bo Spurrier awhile to realize that. I'm not even sure its sunk in yet w/ Swinney...hope it does soon. But our team has lost that pazaz(sp) and what this game means. RULING THE COOTS everyyyyy YEAR!!**

After the game was more fun than before and during the game was waaay more fun! We throttled GA Tech and shut down Calvin Johnson and their offense. Even better there is no game the following week to have to worry about a let down like last time.

as shields, if you dare to actually make contact with a Coot child, and by all means aim for the jejunum. Whatever happens, no Carolina fan leaves Death Valley alive. We will use their heads as awning fixtures that used to be adorned with Lite Brite filled gourds.

or players should do anything that is below board or threatening to the other team or fans. I am all about keeping Clemson classy. But, I do want a loud and "hostile" environment for the other team to deal with when they are on the field. I do want to run the score up as much as possible. I do want our players to play as physically as possible within the rules of the game.

90% of the population over the age of 22 doesn't have any idea what that gesture means - as demonstrated by the number of people that asked about it.
Plus, I honestly think the biggest thing is to be respectful to non-Clemson people (even coots). Don't want to give anyone a reason to badmouth clemson.

You said "reek of pain" and "bloodbath" while "thrashing the coots".
That should get us all life in front of the firing squad according to them

You talk like we are about to go fight a war in Afghanistan. I could understand the seriousness if we were playing, but we are just fans. We don't need to be walking around with a stick up our #### all day to cheer as loud as possible.

Just a game??? Just a football game??? You guys are kidding - right?
Losing to the chickens again is NOT an option. With ML out of this game, we have a great chance to re-align the universe. You're supposed to be serious when aligning the universe.
