but the last couple years, opposing QBs have been able to get far too comfortable in the pocket compared to those years. No doubt about it, the best pass defense is a relentless pass rush.

Because he and Dabo knew each other at Bama so somehow that's nepotism.

I love our Tigers but sometimes I really have to shake my head at some of our fans.

I don't think he was a bad hire, just that we had such a great run under Coach Hobby. Losing him hurt our DEs imo. This next class or two will really determine what we have for DE as clearly we hit a home run for DT coaching. That said, I STILL think our best D Lineman is Bresee. In fact last season before he got hurt I thought he needed to pull a C. Wilkins and line up at end as his motor is second to none and our pass rush has been lacking the last couple of seasons. If we are even close to the Power Rangers this season it's going to be awesome. Go Tigers!

So how on earth have our defensive ends been hurt? We’ve had Austin Bryant Cleveland Farrell KJ Henry Xavier Thomas and perhaps the best, Miles Murphy. I just don’t get how people look at stuff

It's not a knock on our current guys, but also hard to argue that the performance had been om par with Coach Hobby's tenure imo. Guys like Bowers, Beasley, Dodd, Lawson, etc. Heck, Cle and Austin were recruited and groomed under Hobby. Murphy has been really good, but I think most would agree those guys I just mentioned were on a slightly different level and subsequently all first rounders. Go Tigers!
