I’ve given you actual facts. The numbers prove you are lying to advance an agenda. Our recruiting is not “down” as measured by player rankings and, in fact, if those rankings really mattered our 2021 and 2022 would have been the best ever. The real question is why is a Clemson superfan telling facially incorrect lies about our football program?

We’ve recruited more 5 stars in the past 5 years than in the 5 seasons preceding either national championship under Dabo. You’re doubling down on stupidity. It’s not shocking that the same guy who is convinced that this will be our best basketball team ever also thinks Dabo’s recruiting has dramatically dropped off. Sell it somewhere else troll.

And the blip from 18-20 where we recruited significantly above that yielded lesser results on the field. Call me names all you want but you’re the one shoveling horsesh*t right now. You are simply reinforcing that you know nothing about football or are trolling. It has to be one or the other. What were the two biggest recruiting classes in Clemson’s football history? What were the net accomplishments of those? How do more recent years compare to the years preceding our national championships? If you’re going to trash the last 5 years as disappointments you are gonna have to reconcile that with that fact that they’ve also been loaded with more talent than at any other point in Dabo’s tenure. And he still had his elite coordinators for 2 of those. So your narratives easily collapse upon themselves. The fact is your general assertions about our recruiting are wrong. You’re wrong about the net effects of recruiting and wrong about the simple facts of the rankings of our recruits. Not surprising from a troll who hates Clemson but it is surprising that the occasional account still falls for your bs.

If we are to believe you, we are left to conclude that we have been more talented than ever recently. If so, we don’t have nearly enough to show for it, and it calls into question the caliber of coaching - from top to bottom.
So are you saying that our coaching has been poor the last 4 years? I mean, if they have been the highest ranked recruiting classes we have EVER had, yet we can’t even be a top 10 program during that span, what does that say about leadership, player development, and game planning from Dabo & Co.?

I’m not saying any of those things. I’m responding to your contradictory and factually incorrect assertions. You use player rankings to denigrate Dabo but those are consistent with the recruiting until 2018. 2018 and 2020 were outliers in terms of 5 star players. You blame Dabo for squandering talent with mediocre coaches but Elliot and Venables were on hand in 2020 and 2021. If you want to change your arguments once again then Go right ahead. I’m not the one that thinks he knows more about coaching than Dabo nor am I the one that thinks the program has been disappointing.

gone after this year but if you don’t think guys like Moore, Wesco, S. Brown, A. Adams don’t have that same type of upside then you aren’t paying attention. This team has plenty of star power - now and the next few years which is all you can look at. Depth/avoiding key injuries will be the key like it always is for us or any team that wants to contend. Depth is a much harder thing to obtain in the todays world where everyone has $ to spend.

This is reality actually. Last decade we'd bring several top 100 in the class. Since nil, we get a couple here and there, but usually not top 50. We usually make it to their top 4 or 5 schools but imo most of that is leverage for what schools paying more.
Yeah, there's kids out there we don't offer if they're just in it for the money... but even good character kids understand they can get paid. Truth is there's a lot of good schools copying our "family " and culture spiel.

We aren't landing the huge names and we will have a different approach. Its just different. We had to adapt. The 2026 and beyond will.be interesting. I have no doubt Dabo will figure it all out. Its not like we still aren't doing well, but its different.
