Cant tell by watching these ACC matchups how we will play against them

The ACC is so unpredictable along with the fact that we are not as dominant as we have been in the past. Transfer portal had changed everything for most of these acc teams- good and bad

If we're truly honest with our selves, we don't know how good our team is bc we really haven't been challenged since playing one of the top teams in the country in UGA. I do wonder what the outcome would've been if we could've played them 3 or 4th game in the season. I do believe we would score more than 3 points!!!

has been super dominant since the light went on with Cade during the App State game. We are a scoring machine with many weapons. The 1st string D has also been dominant...so?

We’ve scored 21 points in the 1st quarter every week except for last week and of course Uga.

The final scores are only because of garbage time scores by opponents.

That’s not 100% true. The defense has been Jekyll and Hyde. They play great at moments yet look lost in others. UVA scored 7 of 21 fourth quarter points against backups. No other Clemson defense surrendered so many garbage time points with backups in. Goodwin may be the weak link. He has the players on paper to be top 10 annually. He hasn’t performed to that level. He’s consistently inconsistent

You can’t watch teams play to gauge how well we will do against them. FSU May beat Miami or lose close. Doesn’t mean we won’t boat race them if the defense plays well. Too many variables for any given week to look at how teams play to guard future success.

Francis Marion logic claims were better than UGA based on common opponent results. We lost head to head. UGA is better. Although, I feel if we play them in the playoff it will be a much more competitive game. Not based on common opponents but based on offensive growth. If the defense ever lives up to expectations, we could beat them next time.
