Having seen: Cordarralle Patterson, Stephon Gilmore, J. Clowney, D. Holloman, Derion Kendrick, Jonathan Hefney, Ko Simpson, etc. etc. Anthony Johnson - Tampa Bay Bucs, etc.

Waymond Jenerette was one of the most fierce competitors to ever play at any of the Rock Hill schools. I think the kid suffered from wanting to be a basketball star for years and then getting into football super late. So, no camps and no competition with him against other talent in shorts during the summer in order to rank his prowess as a football player.

Not sure about anything else about the kid; but I do know his athleticism in no question FBS worthy. He seems very respectful and motivated by wanting to win for teammates!
I get it and this isn't about feeling bad for him. Instead; it's a "remember the name commentary"!
No question in my mind; if he wants to and doesn't give up on his dream( if he has next level goals) that he will make it and be dominant. I don't say this about every kid. I don't say it often. But, including some kids who played around Charlotte, Gaffney, Spartanburg-Greenville, Columbia play and make it: "he has that type of talent and athletic ability"!
I think he got caught chasing the basketball dream too long! But, the kid dominated at a WR!
Wish we were still looking for Walk Ons or had more roster spots! Life is funny sometimes and it's nobody's fault! Just is what it is..

Why would you think we are not looking for walk-ons? Has Jenerette applied to Clemson or contacted the coaches with interest? Is he qualified to attend college?

Perhaps you could help make the introduction?
