Watson will be in NY this year for the Heisman...

If we win out...
In virtually 2 and a half games, Watson is only 3 passing TD's behind current front runner Marcus Mariota...

That would be awesome but something tells me they might think twice about giving it to another freshman.

I don't think the OP is saying DW would win it. Just that he may be in the top 5 to get an invite to NYC.

Yea, I doubt he'll win just because we've dropped 2 games and will pretty much be irrelevant nationally but his stats and going undefeated as the starter should be enough to get him there.

I know we would all love to see that but as we all know, it would incredibly difficult for a person from a 2 loss team to make it..that trophy is less about the "best player" and more about the "best player on the best team"...the last time they got it right was RGIII.

Manziel and RG3 won it with 2 or more losses.

Incredibly difficult with 2 losses? Couldn't happen? Wow nice memory...what was aTm record the year Manziel won? Just curious

He had Heisman moments against FSU. Remember when Kirk said "a star is born" we just snapped the win over his head.

I also find it hilarious that the coaching staff says Cole "Won the job.". There is no way that Watson can be this much better than Cole on the field but be worse in practice.

I agree, if he plays like yesterday all season I think he may receive an invite. Adrian Peterson finished in 2nd his freshman year. (He was a clear winner, that or any other year smh)
