Watson, 2014 Season

Nov 16, 2014, 11:32 AM

Watson was/is going to be what Tajh Boyd was to us, a reliable starter for 3-4 years- a franchise type guy. It's just unfortunate that he got hurt. But, if Boyd had been injured anytime during the last 3 years, we would have been in the exact same boat. Stop blaming the coaches, they had nothing to do with injuries, but did miss on some guys recruiting wise.

When a coach recruits a guy he looks to see if he can play first, then our coaches talk with the young man to see if he's a person that they can trust, and who won't be a piece of crap rapist/ theif/ moron, or the like. They missed on Kelley, it sucks but they missed on him. If it weren't for Bellamy being an idiot who didn't show up for class and Swagg being a fruit loop, we are still in business this year. It sucks!!!!! But please remember that next year we get 2 outstanding record holding QB's that will help in this situation, not mention some outstanding O-Linemen. Help is on the way!!! Injuries suck, but we will still have at worst an 8-5 season, or at best a 10-3 season. A few years ago 8-5, and 9-4 were not only the normal but we're considered good seasons. We lost for 7 games our franchise QB and still have an 8-5 year... Ok, move on, next year our O will be unbelievable, while our D will be rebuilding, we are loaded with talent over there and will still be an outstanding unit.

I hate it, ai was hoping for an #### whopping against SC this year, and that looks highly improbable without Watson, but life goes on, we got screwed by chance or bad luck or Karma, whatever you wanna call it. Most other teams don't have 2 great QB's on their rosters either. SC has nobody, Fsu has nobody, AU has nobody, and the list goes on and on. If they lost their QB's they would be even worse than we have been.

A lot of truth in what you say...but FSU's nobody beat us and so did usucks! The two coming in have big numbers but that is all we know about them. Israel isn't a highly rated guy and was not offered by other top programs. I wonder why!

Fsu's nobody didn't beat us, missed passes, missed Fg's, a bad snap, and a fumble beat us. Their QB was garbage most of the game.
And SC's back up beat us in 2012, not the back up they have now. That guy sucks!
TCU, Baylor, OU, OSU, and pretty much every team out there has a backup who can't go what the starter can do.

When has SC's backup played to form an opinion?

The kid from Boiling Springs who is the QB at usuck NOW is the same player who beat us in 2102 as a backup!!!!!
