water stains on leather car seats. How to remove?

I had the windows cracked and a surprise thunderstorm came through. Left sort of whitish stains on the black leather. Tried regular Lexol conditioner like I usually use, didn't help at all. The other day a friend suggested saddle soap. Haven't used any of that in decades.
What say ye?

but son of left some liquid stains on a leather ottoman - huge stain. I decided to try water, and even out the stain - it almost took it away. I have one small stain left that I could not get out.

it looks like the black dye washed out of the perforations. And the stains are a couple yrs old.

Keep it out of the heat first and foremost

Park it in a cool, dark garage with some tubs of damp rid in there and let it dry slowly . If it heat dries, it will shrink and feel like beef jerky. Acura leather is the absolute worst for this.

are you referencing re-wetting it? Cause like I said, stains

are a couple years old. Seems like right before/at covid. I can re-wet as has been mentioned, and dry somewhat slow, like in the garage. This car is an issue, cause also the radio sound has gone out. Bluetooth phone still works. I've read some issues wit the power amp, but these two things have really soured me on this car. I thought it was a glorified CRV w/V6 and conventional trans, plus plusher. Since I drive way less for work, I've been driving the weeny '04 2WD auto Tacoma locally a lot instead.

I speak from experience.
Drench the rest of the leather interior with water and dry it slowly. Get over the fact that it doesn't match the vinyl door panels and carpet.

I had a three or four foot stain (this is a huge ottoman)

and just started on one end and was amazed rubbing water on it made it disappear when it dried - all except one small spot. Knowing my son and his friends, it was probably spilled cheap beer (he was in college back then.)

My 9th grade girlfriend made a pretty noxious snail trail on the suede couch in my parent’s sunroom. Magic eraser worked pretty well on that one.

Start by blotting the water stain with a clean, absorbent cloth or paper towel. Try to remove as much moisture as possible without spreading the stain further.
Before applying any cleaner, it's essential to test it on a small, inconspicuous area of the seat to ensure it doesn't cause any damage or discoloration. Choose a leather cleaner specifically designed for automotive leather. Vegas Golf Game

There's typically four bolts that hold the seat to the floor

Be careful. They're not normal bolts, usually they're Hi-Loks or something similar. Hold the stud, turn the nut.
