to quit. He pretty much said if you don't want me anymore you can get rid of me. Meaning someone else would have to act to dismiss him. Which Clemson admin will not unless he fails epically in some area of his job contract. Just bringing clarity to madness. Go Tigers!!!!!!

So do I. Those who don’t IMO just need to go pull for another University. There is no place like Clemson. It’s special.

If he quit or retires, I can't imagine Clemson would owe him the money.

Arrogant response? You have got to be kidding? What is arrogant is fans who know nothing about football and have never played football never done anything saying sorry coach you have not won a natty in 8 years and ACC Championships mean nothing so time for you to go. You are ignorant and Arrogant!

Just because you know nothing about football doesn’t mean other fans don’t. Dabo is paid 11.4 million so he needs to win or take a pay cut which he won’t do.

it's just shifting the goal posts around - using the questions that are asked as a pretext to answer ones that weren't. It implicitly accuses the questioner (and all would ask such or similar questions) of making some sort of hard-line, totalizing condemnation they're not making.
By talking this way, he sets up a false dichotomy, in which even mild or moderate criticism is cast as all-out condemnation. Ya ask about offensive struggles and suddenly a deluge of tirade verbiage about past records gets shoved down your throat, as part of a sarcastic and somewhat indignant recitation of his resume. The unavoidable total effect/impression of that is that he seems to think that in order to make reasonable criticisms, you have to own up to the fact that what you're really (supposedly) saying is that the program is awful.
Dabo might be the only person on the planet that believes this crap. I doubt anyone who knows anything about CFB thinks Dabo sucks or that his program is awful - clearly it's not. It's just the false dichotomy he has to force ever time someone has something critical to say. It's a deflection method.

among "some" Clemson fans on social media. And Dabo is a straight shooter and gives honest answers to questions. Two possible choices. You answer it. Or you ignore it and say "no comment." He basically just said if they want me to gone (meaning the decision makers at Clemson) then he'll go do his thing somewhere else. Meaning he's not done coaching. He made good points that hopefully the "gotta have it my way and now" crowd, will ponder and weigh out their opinions a little bit more.. I mean there are options out there to do either thing. I think you want a guy that is feisty and confident. Can you imagine if he gave answers like Bill Belichek. Then it would all be about how he doesn't care or he's lost his drive. Dabo def has drive if anything.

Since no one suggested he leave, Dabo was begging the question. So yea, he decided to threaten us. Of his own accord. As he has done before.
