GITT With Alchohol You just can't drink again
Feb 24, 2016, 7:11 PM
|
|
Evan Williams Honey (or any honey whiskey). Drank half a bottle by myself with about 10 red jello shots.
Good: Ended up in a hot tub with my (then girlfriend) wife and her friend in their underwear.
Bad: Puked red, thought it was blood. Freaked me out.
Now If I even smell honey whiskey my stomach starts turning.

They had a free tasting at Legends way back when I'd just turned 21. Those were different times back in the 80s. They found me at the bottom of the Johnstone C-Section stairwell a weird shade of green. I came to about 20 hours later. Not a big fan of brown liquor in general ever since.

Bourbon .....and barbeque little smokies

Jim Beam and I had a disagreement at the Carolina Cup in about 1989.
Some little smokies in a crockpot of bbq sauce were unintended collateral damage.
To this day, I cannot stand the smell of either.

Awesome to see a High School Special Teams coach has the time to post about drinking on a message board. Good times. Never mind teaching kids and being a role model.

haha I tried to ignore this post. I really did. I guess I'm just not that good of a person.
First off, we are coaches, not monks. Come to the coaches clinic and you'll find out how true that is.
I have coached special teams before. Do not do that now.
I'm pretty sure I posted this thread around 8 or 9 at night. What teacher is teaching students at that time?
Do you work 24 hours a day? Neither do I.
My name or where I work is nowhere to be found so how am I being a negative role model?
Drinking alcohol makes me a bad person? Please explain. I am over 21 and do not drink and drive or drink and fight.
Are you a preacher? You sound like a preacher.

Fireball, but let's be honest. If I'm out and already intoxicated and someone hands me a shot of it I will take it. I did have a really bad time with bacardi 151 one time. Haven't had it since so maybe that can be mine.

One thing that probably works in my favor is that I only drink really hoppy ales, and even sniffing a third pint usually gives me a headache. Classic conditioning?
