It was offered September 1.

FSU and Clemson have to be working together.

I think the Big 12 should also invite VTech and Georgia Tech.
It makes sense!

probably NOT take the bird in the hand and just keep waiting for the climax.
If it doesn't come they will be in deep trouble, if it does then more power to them in the SEC.

...thinks the travel involved with this is an awful idea? If we end up in the Big XII we have to fly teams for basically every event or triple the duration of their stay.
I feel like this is a situation where "best" for the athletics is "worst" for the athletes.

Yeah, but what is that, one or two teams?

Just adding GT or FSU along with us somewhere doesn't really fix it IMO. Without about 4 or 5 other teams (essentially the way the ACC is laid out now) the problem is just as pronounced. We'll just be the BC of the Big XII (not a knock on BC or equating us to them, just a geographical comment on the difficulty of the situation).

No, there are too many schools for only 4 majors.

The ACC is in no ways dying. Sorry folks. This deal with MD is down to a who is who. MD failed in their vision and the Big 10 was the saving grace.
