Using ROKU to Watch ESPN 3

I have seen several posts on here about watching ESPN3 for the game tonight on Roku. I have located ESPN3 on Roku and was given a code to use. When I tried to watch a game on ESPN3 it says "Unable to play video..this channel is not part of your TV pkg." ESPN says it should be and to call AT&T Uverse. They say call Roku. ROKU can't help me. Can anyone tell me anything to do?

Uninstall the watchespn app from the Roku and try again***

make sure you go to the web address it gives you

And enter the code. It will ask you to log in to Uverse. Then you should be good to go.

Just got back from Best Buy with my Roku $49

Already hooked up and watching baseball. Would love to be there but $49 compared to $60 and I have air conditioning and beer.

ESPN3 is paid thru your internet subscription

The provider has to partcipate, unrelated to your cable/satellite package. Some don't, including Windstream in SC.

never had to login to use espn3, it just asks for your provider??
