Recruiting Data
I spent a few hours Monday compiling data on four and five stars from the rankings on rivals.com in two different forms.
First, I looked at the number of four and five stars from nine southern states over the past four years and next year. Second, I looked at five st

There is more HS football in the Atlanta area alone than the whole state of SC.

XT is a 5 star prospect from SC , but am I correct in assuming since he is playing out his HS career in Florida he counts in their list instead of being the only one from SC ?

Not that one 5 star is really going to change the data but I would count him as SC. He is a native and was recruited out of SC. Still, we've managed to attract a lot of out of state talent. I'm just glad some of these highly rated prospects gave lil ol Clemson a chance.

I'm sure he hasn't been built yet, but yeah he would be awesome at football! Question is, which position should he play? We will never have to worry about him getting injured. And he would be an honor roll student without even studying!

This is the result of the type of person we recruit - those with character - who want a degree so they can do well in this world if football doesn't work out. When other recruits and their parents come to visit, they can see the difference in the quality of person we have on our team and know that the culture will make a difference in their (or their son's) life. Thank you, Dabo!

Analysis not needed Mickey. It's working. It ain't broke. Spurrier hit the sweet spot and dried up. Tigers have persevered despite the recruiting issues by attracting out of state, and still are. Our brand is working because highschool stars recognize authenticity and honesty. Refreshing huh.

Seems a lot of SCs 4 and 5 stars transfer to IMG or another out of state HS.
