the series due to the Masters. It sounds like we played tight and booted the ball around some. FSU is a very good team that has played against some outstanding teams this year. The fact that we've never beaten them probably added to the tightness.

Now we need to make sure we finish strong to host a regional. We probably played our way out of possibly hosting a super regional unless we win the ACC tournament (@ ND).

We've got a big game tomorrow night vs. the coots. They'll be pizzed off after being run-ruled and having their coach tossed at our place. After the dirtpeckers our next series is @ NCSt, a midweek vs. Winthrop, a home series w/ Pitt, a midweek @ Liberty, and then we finish up with an away series vs. VT.

Don't give up on this team, they're still special. Go Tigers!

Wasn't a good series for the Ladies in any phase. Pitching wasn't as efficient as they normally are and couldn't string any hits together, add in defensive woes and that is a recipe for disaster. FSU played outstanding on the other hand. Seemed they got all the breaks in all 3 games. The ladies will rebound. That's what good teams do.

Impactful was the lack of timely hitting. The craziest stat you’ll see for a long time was that we were 0-30 with runners on base during the 3 games. It was something like 0-10 with RISP.

Hope no one is giving up on the team. This should only help us down the stretch. What got us as you see the boxscore is no hitting. We were o-fer with runners on base. Surprisingly we couldn't attack the freshman pitcher who got her first start in the first game.

We made some errors and silly mistakes in the last game or we probably win that one. But with elite teams, the margin for error is razor thin.
