UGA is going to be tough to beat but we have the defense

We have the Defense to beat anyone if our Offense plays like TCU last season but with a better line, RB’s & TE’s. I won’t say it with much spin but Cade Klubnik is a winner and his leadership is amazing.
DJ never had that leadership naturally but Cade is the whole package! Like Deshaun had it!

Hopefully he'll pick up a few more good pounds without losing speed of course. Would still like to see him more patient and pocket awareness .

Are we playing Georgia in the opener this year? I just checked the schedule and it looks like we open with Duke. Spend to much time worrying about a game we may not play until January and you may not play them at all. I subscribe to the Dabo Swinney 5 rule program. Win the opener and the opener is not Georgia.

Let's beat Duke, FSU, NC State, ND and the chickens first.

“Football LEADERSHIP” - What is it EXACTLY?

The term “leadership” is thrown around A LOT, to the point of it becoming a cliche.
It is often defined as an “it factor”, i.e., you just “have it”.
But, seriously, what EXACTLY are we looking for in “football leadership”?
Making a play? A perfect throw/tackle, an interception? Is it about being a “let’s go!” “rah, rah” person in the huddle or sidelines?
If it happened as it has been described with DW4 in the winning drive against the Tide, and I’ll probably be ripped for this comment, but, THAT DRIVE was DW4 defining EXACTLY what FOOTBALL LEADERSHIP in action was and should be.
And, I want to emphasize that my opinion on this drive by DW4 in NO WAY diminishes the leadership that TL16 showed in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State. However, that winning drive by DW4 seemed like EVERY PLAY on that drive exhibited courage, skill, determination, grit, and yes, LEADERSHIP.
The comment as the offense was walking on the field, calmly, confidently, and with conviction, “Let’s go be LEGENDARY!”. Then, making every throw, the RIGHT throw to every receiver. Pulling the ball, running for critical yards, taking brutal hits & getting back up for the next play, in “Rocky-like” fashion. Watching Bama players in disbelief as DW4 just kept making play after play after play. Staring across the line at the Bama 1-yard line, rolling out and hitting Renfrow for the TD, instead of playing the odds for a FG to tie the game.
I can watch that drive a thousand times and never get tired of it.
My message to Cade is this….take a long and studious look at those games by DW4 & TL16, along with a few other “gems” by those two (2) NFL QBs, and you’ll get a perfect picture of what “football leadership” is about and what you have to do to attain “IT”.

Agreed, 100%. I have watched that final drive many times and the game itself. Bama tried their best to take DW out with late hits and he still kept getting back up. In regards to the on field performance and his head being in the game, no comparison to DJ. Leadership is one thing, leading you off a cliff is another.

In fact, we almost did it two years ago when they had their best team in their history and we had our worst in decades.
