His punishment should have been that neck slam to the turf he received from the strength coach.

Should have. Idiotic move. You'd think even one in college would have more sense but it's all about him I guess.

A fan is suing the New York Knicks after he was ejected and arrested last January for heckling Carmelo Anthony, and event which he said lead to his termination from his job. From the New York Post:
Former ING Broker Anthony Rotondi says in a new Manhattan Supreme Court filing that the venue's security had him arrested — costing him his job — for “merely engaging in the type of fan-like conduct The Garden encourages each and every night that the Knicks play.”
Rotondi said he was within his rights to yell, “Carmelo, you stink!” during the final minute after the Knicks squandered a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter against the Detroit Pistons last January.

Rotondi claims that team employees called his employer to complain about his behavior, leading to his dismissal days later.

That's insane. Why would he be arrested?

I'm all for a venue having the right to eject a fan who is being unruly (hopefully after a warning or two) but arrested!?! And why would they call his employer!?!

Agree. If that coach would have just contained the guy that would have been fine. No, he has to go WWE on this kid and body slammed him on the field, that changed everything in my opinion. I believe the kid did wrong by running on the field but does't deserve to lose his scholarship. That probably isn't a popular idea but it's just the way I see it.
