Tuesday night top 4 - whatcha got?

I'm going...
1. Ohio State
2. Clemson
3. Alabama
4. LSU

The reason I don't have Clemson at 1. is that while I think the committee will mostly ignore the current "Clemson sucks" narrative in the sports media, I don't think they will ignore it 100%. We'll see. What say you?

LSU OSU Alabama Clemson.

For LSU they'll look past 4 wins against some of the worst CFB has to offer right now and point at the "quality wins" vs back up QB Florida, missing a starting WR and both DE. Also they'll look past a 3 point win vs Auburn who shouldn't be competitive with anyone "playoff caliber" in my opinion.

OSU is riding the hype train and it won't change here. They'll look past that their "signature win" was against a team that already struggled to pass normally and the game was in the pouring rain where they just had to stack the box to stop taylor and win.

Alabama because it's Alabama.

Clemson at 4 because although they've dismantled teams on average they're in the ACC and that will knock them and they don't have a true "signature win"

In the end I don't care as long as we're in the top 4 because I think we're by far the best team in college football.

I think the top 8 will be

LSU Ohio State, Bama, Clemson, Penn State, Oregon, Minnesota, Baylor

(I think UGA beats UF and Baylor beats WVU.)

But, it doesn't matter if you are one of these teams: LSU, OH ST, Bama, Clemson, PSU, Minn, winner of uf/UGA. Those seven teams control their own destiny. Win em all an you're in. Everybody else, including Baylor, needs help.
