If you just dump and have no pump, then one questions if you were ever a Clemson fan in the first place.
If you just pump and have no dump because you can’t objectively admit some things are wrong, you might just be a Clemson Ho.

Dumpers are like coot fans. They have no personal achievement in life to be proud of, so they depend on some external entity such as women's basketball, to make them feel like they have something to strut about. When the team lets them down and they can't brag or try to belittle the other teams' fans, they get pissed. That vicarious pride is all they had.

You could just be a Clemson fan and realize that as a fan, you don’t get to call plays, you don’t get asked about tactics or strategy… you only get to be a fan. Nothing you do is going to change an outcome for your team, but you do have choices. If your choice is to rant, rave and call for the heads of those you think have failed you; if you feel like “your team” owes you something… a win, a championship, perfection that’s your choice. Me, I chose to support my team, I still get mad when Cade does something dumb or the coaches call a screen pass on 3rd and 10, run it up the middle on 3rd and 7, or when the DEs press inside and let opposing QBs burn us for long runs.. my list gets longer during a game… but I’m not going to “dump” on my team. I sometimes cringe for my team. I often feel bad for my team because I know they want to do well and they have much more invested than I, a fan, do.
If I “objectively admit some things are wrong” when I have no power to change it seems foolish. If that makes me a “Clemson Ho” to you that’s OK with me because I won’t let your negativity affect my deep love for my team (and I suspect you love them too).

Dumpers are trolls, pumpers are blind. But the majority on this board being dubbed dumpers are bringing valid criticisms of the program that the pumpers happily dismiss because we’re not 4-8.
The offense is bad
The play calling has been stale at best since 2019
We are not destroying bad teams like we should
We’re losing too many at home we have no business losing (coots, lville)
We held onto the Goodwin experiment too long
Grisham hasn’t developed a single 1000 yard receiver
Our QB depth is atrocious
Are we winning 9-10 games per year despite this? Yes, but the ACC gives us basically an 8 win floor, so we’re not exactly over performing.
Is it still significantly better than the 90s/00s? Yes, but that’s a low bar, and honestly it’s not a fair comparison. Look at the resources committed now vs then and the outlandish prices IPTAY is commanding today as a result.

“Oh we are getting beat a the line of scrimmage” meanwhile there’s zero objective evidence of that.
The only thing we can realistically “complain” about has been the play of the QB. Riley even seemed to have added more runs yesterday and he put Cade in a position to win last week.
There’s really nothing else to point to, but I’d love to debate any dumper on his subjective stances.

to the world. They seek each other out, commiserate, wring hands and probably drink more than they should. They get defensive when you call them out, but can't present a reasonable argument not grounded in adult adolescent emotions. They resort to a ridiculous narrative about those that rightfully tell them to grow up claiming they are "pumping" in favor of poor results on the field. When you ask them to present evidence of said behavior you hear radio silence because it doesn't exist. Nobody is celebrating bad play on the field. Nobody is gaslighting the masses, telling them what to think or how they feel. Nobody is telling them they aren't allowed to tell the world how much of a douchte they are even, but don't get your anals in a pucker when the straights make fun of you. You did it to yourself and deserve everything you get as a result. Grow up. Nobody needs you or your suposed fandom.

Saw it in 2010, then after the 5 consecutive SCar losses. The battle took a back seat when no one could whine about anything (even though it still happened when W's weren't impressive enough) because we won literally everything for a stretch, then when we weren't perfect again the 'realists' and 'obvious' contingency has swelled back.
It still seems there is a contingency of folks that are just too 'tough' and will never be at peace with the dorky Dabo being the GOAT here at football, and HOF'er in the sport overall. Greed ultimately kills most good things, though, and unfortunately that reality doesn't reveal itself until after the deeds are done.
