Today marks a sad day. In 1993, the world lost Honey Tree Evil Eye.
Honey worked under a stage name and if you watched any TV in the late 80's, you probably saw her in action.
She was wildly popular at the time, though her work was highly controversial. Mainly becuase she portrayed the opposite sex, and to make matters worse, she tempted children into doing things they should not do.
At least that's what Strom Thurmond thought, who launched a campaign to stop Honey Tree's work. The war was only fueled when she appeared as Santa Clause a couple of years later, to the outrage of some folks. She died too soon, just 5 years later, perhaps from the stress of the viscious witch hunt against her. So let's pour one out for Honey Tree Evil Eye.

That's one among her fine catalogue of works. When I was at CU they showed Polyester in the Amphitheater, complete with scratch-n-sniff cards.
It was a good time except someone brought a pipe bomb and freaked everyone out. Turned out to be fake, or at least a dud, if I remember.
