Parker before being speared in the ribs at Auburn, yes. Afterwards, he became a much different QB because he feared getting hurt and ruining his baseball career.

My list is the same except I would flip Kelly Bryant and Cade. Only because of Cade's '24 season. Kelly never approached being any kind of a passing threat.

Cade made a 12 team playoff because we back doored our way into the ACC ship game. Kelly Bryant took us to a 4 team playoff and if not for getting hurt vs Cuse likely has us undefeated in that playoff and not playing Bama in the first round.

Watson would've won 2/3 titles with Trevor's teams IMO
Not sure lawerence would've won with 14-16's teams.
But it's a very very spoiled argument. Lawerence was a hel of a ball player and I'm so glad he came here.
I just think Watson was THAT good. Hate he turned out to be a scumbag. But the talent was undeniable.

Exactly. Trevor had a way better team around him in all aspects.
Watson looked at Alabama and put the team on his back then left it all on the line. Lawrence looked at LSU and had fear in his eyes.
Both were tremendous talent and we are lucky to have had each of them but if I am building my All Time Clemson roster I pick Watson every time.
If I am picking a roster of really nice guys that happen to be excellent QBs...Lawrence gets the nod.

I do remember us getting out to a 17-7 lead before their offense took over and we could no longer get any stops. Thats seems a little contradictory to a guy that had already lost the game before stepping on the field.
Also, Trevor had still not lost a game in his career at that point, so its a little hard to imagine him having zero confidence and just throwing in the towel before the game started.

The only one on this list that can change my mind is Cade. He still has time to get his mind right. But right now he is just a shade above DJU. We hounded DJU but his stats look better than Kelly Bryant until he got into the FSU debacle...at least to me. Just Sayin'

His 2009 and 2010 numbers are extremely similar. There's a slight drop-off in TDs which is probably attributable to having a weaker supporting cast in 2010, but everything else is basically the same. Extremely similar completion %, YPA, INT rate, etc. Basically the same QB.
This is similar to the Cole Stoudt thing where he gets remembered for the 1 game against OU and not the 7 or 8 games that he stunk in during the regular season. Or the "Reggie Merriweather had the hot hand" thing where Spiller actually had most of the yards on that drive but nobody seems to ever mention that.
Its basically all fan fiction.

I almost kept Boyd out of the top 3 just based on him never beating SC, but he did have to play the best SC teams they've ever had in their history. Parker is ahead based on his pre-injury play before the spear when we should've beaten top ranked AU. But honestly, I would have Woody, Whitehurst, and Homer in there between Boyd and KB too.
