It’s conceivable that this would be tough…particularly against UVA, a championship program that prior to 2 weeks ago, had beaten us 11 times in a row.
Hopefully we can win. Another win over UVA would be huge.
But anyone assuming victories in conference play based on the acc being ‘down’ or whatever needs to tread carefully. We may have a pretty good team that got off to a slow start in November. But we need to see a few weeks of the conference grind and how they respond.

Uva is a shell of its prior self. Simply, not a good team. Bilas has them ranked #59. Beating them at home after humiliating them on the road, should not be considered difficult.
At home, more talented, - but sometimes you lose.

In ACC play, we will lose games to teams rated lower than UVA….

It happens every year.
My point was not necessarily that UVA is great this year…it’s that Clemson has no business assuming victories over anyone at this juncture.
Having watched a lot of ACC seasons and Clemson basketball….it’s never easy. Even the cruddy teams find ways to beat you.
We are just as average as the teams we will play against most nights…we could be better, but my guess is we’ll win some, lose some. It is what it is.
With Clemson hoops, I’ve learned to proceed with caution….I appreciate wins, but don’t assume them.

I'm sorry, we're just taking bad shots. We go into a dry spell and instead of being patient and running execution, we throw up a bad off balance 3. At least that's what I see. We'll get it going.

Virginia couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. Their shooting was horrendous, they turned the ball over, and there was a 19 minutes where they only made one field goal.

The VA coach is too good to play us again and not make adjustments. I think we all knew this would be a reach to beat them twice. He got us in bad match ups and probably really challenged his team after losing to us at home.
