Should Sammy Watkins be on there or do you........

think he still has to prove himself after this past season's "sophomore slump?"
I'm thinking he should be on this list if he plays from now on like we expect him to.

Bowers and Gaines Adams should be 1 and 1a.
I'm not sure about Hamilton.
Also you don't have a single offensive lineman, tight end or interior defensive lineman on your list. They make up 1/3 of the team.
You show a bias to "showy" positions.

Our best defensive lines were anchored by solid defensive tackles. When Brandon Thompson and Jarvis Jenkins were stopping the run, the DE's were freed up to provide a much better pass rush. I think at least one of those 2 belongs in the top 20.
Dwayne Allen probably belongs in the top 10, but I'm not sure there have been any OL worthy of this list.

Tye Hill
Feb 21, 2013, 11:50 AM
|
|
I remember Hill as an absolute lock-down corner. Both years we played Ga Tech, Calvin Johnson didn't have a catch when Tye Hill was on the field.
Miller, although a big-hitter and flashy return man, would get beat deep quite a bit. In a season opener against Georgia, Miller gave up an 80-yard TD to Fred Gibson (?) like the first play from scrimage.
Hill was a much better player than Miller. Miller just made more ESPN highlights.
