too deep?

last time I checked we finished 65th in the nation for overall defense. we just had 2 former 4* recruits leave, and everything is fine? Our defense has been miserable for awhile, and just because we played unbelievable at the peach bowl doesn't mean all our defensive problems are resolved. we are not too deep, don't kid yourself.

Actually if you look at who played last season you will realize they were very young. Except for DB we fielded a lot of young players who will be returning. Even with all the injuries Davis didn't make the field much and most of the injured players will return. LB is especially deep with very young guys and keeps getting more talented. You may be right about problems not being resolved but that doesn't mean we are not very deep on that side of the ball.

to both of those guys, BUT, they WERE 2 former 4 star high school players that have never cracked the 2 deep on the college roster. Not a slam, just the facts.

By all reports they are fine young men who were stars in high school who have not worked out so far in college. Hopefully they move on to where they make a difference.Good Luck to them, but whiny a$$ posters need to learn facts and what's up before they start the sky is falling crap.

I guess the COOTS want it to be a bad sign, but it's not. It's also no secret that BV hasn't thought as highly of some of these guys as others do. He wants his players for his system.
