I've seen the reports and the rumors regarding Tony Elliott to Tennessee. I've reached out to three different sources in the program - one as close to the situation as you can get - and I've been told that as of this morning Elliott hasn't heard from Tennessee, much less interviewed or accepted a job. One source said "no interaction at all" and another said that "it's all a ruse." Usually, people just won't answer me if there is something to it, but everyone has responded.

The local (Knoxville) TV sports personalities on this Sunday's Tennessee sports show ran through a list of 15 potential candidates and every one of the panel pretty much dismissed Tony Elliot as someone who the 'decision makers' aren't likely to go for. They all seem to be leaning toward Tom Herman.

Reporter is posting that TE is interviewing tomorrow. Says he has a source and I have no clue who he has but continued saying TE to TN Monday for contract discussion. Says it's not only an interview but it's an official offer to see if interested.
