Was tired of imbecile leaders and the sheep who followed them (you're a Trump sheep) telling them this is just the flu, masks are silly, and that's it all just a hoax while Americans continued to die.
If Trump were a lonely hillbilly, you'd be the sheep tucked under his arm.

If a Republican wins, it's the will of the people and libs can suck it. If a Dem wins, it's cheating or manipulation or something else dirty.

The main issue the Dem Senate candidates used in their campaigning?
Do you honestly think the American public shouldn't see this as a major issue?

You said this:
"This thread is about how the Dems used the pandemic to their advantage and to win the Senate run-off yesterday in GA."
While also admitting you didn't look at their platforms. Thus, you made this claim up.

At least, that's what Marjorie Taylor Greene out of Georgia claims in a Tweet from a while back.
"...Unhealthy for their psychological, emotional, and educational growth... forcing boys to wear masks is emasculating. Masculinity isn't toxic nor dangerous. Dem Socialism and shut downs are."

Had Covid hit 30 to 50 years ago it would’ve killed very few people. Covid is not killing people. Covid is not a pandemic. Per the CDC only 6% of those people dying are dying only from Covid. So based on 300,000 deaths that’s 18,000 people dying from Covid. In an average year the regular flu kills around 30 to 40,000 people. In 2018 the regular flu killed over 80,000 people. H1N1, SARS, Mers, etc. all have significantly higher mortality rates.
Why are so many people dying now? Because we have a worldwide epidemic called metabolic syndrome. The primary cause of metabolic syndrome is the modern diet, primarily refined sugar and things like high fructose corn syrup.
The food pyramid is upside down.
Go do a little research on keto and find out why it’s so effective. The Germans were doing research on this in the 1920s and understood exactly what scientist are learning now but no one wanted to hear anything from a scientist out of Germany for a very long time after World War II.
People on the keto diet have a far better chance of dealing with Covid because keto significantly lower’s blood sugar and significantly reduces inflammation.
Contrary to popular believe obesity is not the cause of the problem. Obesity is a symptom. We know this because even in countries that don’t have an obesity problem they still have high growth rates of diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
Science not Dems & the media are your friend. The left is wrong about literally everything when it comes to believing the science. And if you get on YouTube you can see literally dozens of extremely extremely credible doctors award-winning doctors and researchers and scientists that explain Covid and diabetes and metabolic syndrome and all of these things and why the media and the Democrats are completely wrong and using it for nothing but fear and political power.
And yes you can find extremely credible scientists that have repeatedly debunked man-made climate change as well. Including Judith curry who resigned from Georgia Tech despite being a tenured professor and she used to be the leading expert at the UN responsible for putting together the IPCC Report that is misrepresented all the time by the Democrats and the media. The report did not say the 97% of all scientist think man is causing climate change. The report said 97% of scientists agree that there is climate change. There is no consensus on what’s causing it and Judith Carrie resigned because she said the left will not even have a conversation about what degree man is causing the problem.
So you can keep believing what the Democrats and the mainstream media are telling you or you can act like an intelligent objective person and go do some research and learn for yourself the lies that you are being told. You my friend are the lemming!
FYI I don’t get my news from Fox. And I can point you in the direction of very progressive academics including blacks and women That will tell you how you’re wrong On just about everything. How the left has lost their minds! How the left is the one that’s extreme and how the right and Republicans are actually very close to the middle.
I get my news from independent journalists and academics most of which are liberal progressive or moderate.
Pick any left/liberal/dem talking point and I will give you well know credible independent progressive academics that will counter the main stream narrative but the left and the Democrats are using to divide this country!
One of them is an excellent Clemson professor that has been interviewed twice by Dave Rubin. Look up C. Bradley Thompson.
Even far left radical lesbian feminist and cultural icon Camille Paglia is now practically a libertarian.
I suggest you watch some Tim Pool, Joe Rogan and Dave Rubin and acquaint yourself with Jordan Peterson, Jonathan Haidt, James Lindsay, Peter Boghossian, Sam Harris, John McWhorter, Brett and Eric Weinstein and others on the left bringing some civility rationality and nuance to the conversation.

I think people just think Trump showed lack of leadership and was irresponsible when it came to covid. Basically called it all a hoax and not to wear masks. In a round about way of course. He possibly created a worse situation. He just isn't on it. Look at the vaccine issues at the moment. It wasn't a priority to him. It hurt his image nationally and made him look deranged and incompetent.
Look at the dude in this video at the Trump rally telling people to hug without masks yesterday. It's down a few.

Yeah I think it's the anti mask prob and the hugging in giant groups. That's kind of frowned upon by epidemiologists and others in the medical field.

I wish the Democrats were half as competent as you make them out to be. And it's hard to believe anyone could be dependent on the government because they received two checks totaling $1800.
You know what's amazingly coincidental? How the Democrats' diabolical plan to seize control is perfectly consistent with what every other country on the face of the Earth did in response to the pandemic.

April 3, at the White House: “The C.D.C. is advising the use of nonmedical cloth face covering as an additional voluntary public health measure. So it’s voluntary. You don’t have to do it. They suggested for a period of time, but this is voluntary. I don’t think I’m going to be doing it.”
“I just don’t want to be doing — I don’t know, somehow sitting in the Oval Office behind that beautiful Resolute Desk, the great Resolute Desk. I think wearing a face mask as I greet presidents, prime ministers, dictators, kings, queens — I don’t know, somehow I don’t see it for myself. I just, I just don’t.”
May 21, touring a Ford plant: “I wore one” — a mask — “in the back area. I didn’t want to give the press the pleasure of seeing it.”
July 19, to the Fox News host Chris Wallace: “I don’t agree with the statement that if everybody wears a mask, everything disappears.”

studied the virus and say there’s no way it originated in a lab. So between believing your articles or scientists who studied the virus, I’m going to err on the side that isn’t claiming a conspiracy theory.

T3,
You forgot to control for the thousand other variables between these states.
Two that come to mind are population density and out-of state (or country) visitors.

Democrats responded pandemic with compassion and science

Republicans responded with lies and conspiracies.
The pandemic killed 300,000 Americans in an election year, and you're actually surprised that the party in power lost the presidency and the Senate as a result? The majority of voters aren't stupid.
All Trump had to do was rally behind our superior scientists and rally America to listen to them. He didn't, he lost.
Cause, meet effect.
