Justin Fields couldn't win the starting job at Georgia. Man he is bad. That last interception was the biggest choke job I've ever seen. That ball wasn't within 15 yards of his receiver! LOL at that clown being a Heisman finalist. Just LOL.

Fields was beginning to scramble and WRs are taught to then break form their route and try to get open. He broke to his right or Fields' left a split second after Fields released the ball and then slipped as both teams did all night. Had Olave stayed on his route which required Fields to throw to a spot in the end zone, they are probably on their way to NOLA. This was all confirmed by Olave in his post game interview.
That being said, he did throw another INT. that was on him and should have had 2 more with the one that K'von Wallace dropped, being a pick 6.

That spot he threw to was covered. The WR broke the route toward that corner which was the only play he had. He was beaten to the designated spot. Had fields nutted up, stood in the pocket another second and thrown up anything in that corner they would have scored.
We would have won anyway.

Fields threw the ball on the receivers break to the post, the ball was in the air when the receiver broke off the route... and slipped, like everyone was doing all night... surprised at the field conditions. #24 was in much better position to defend on this play than the previous TD where he got smoked on a skinny post (4th down TD).

I cant stand Justin Fields. He has the moral character of a scum bag. Having said that, he is light years better than Fromm. I think the pic was on the receiver.

I give credit where it is due. The kid played a helluva game, and if his receiver had not broken off the route, we might be the ones moaning about a close loss today. I say take a hard fought win and move on.
