He politely told Caldwell his job was ending this year. Again don’t agree with his hiring approach as I would hope we brought in an experienced and bad ### PROVEN oline coach but we will see what happens with the OLine here in the next year.

He deserves the benefit of the doubt . Idc if CU goes 1-10 next year, I do care but point is datboy has gotten CU 2x as many championships as any other coach in 125 years.
From 69-71 bama sucked, look it up, Bear made changes took 2 years to get on track . Dabo deserves all the patience that can be mustered.

Exactly right!

The thing too is - the landscape and the goal post are moving now in college football. It's going to take a different set of skills more than likely in order to be successful. Early on it's still about Nick Saban's proven track record. But, as the portal and NIL get more refined and boosters and corporate sponsorships get involved navigating recruiting and how you can the most out of young people "While YOu Have them" is going to be crucial. You may not get 3 or 4 years to season them up!

Austin being new to the job may only know a world where these are the rules and thus be quicker to adapt to "how things are now"! At least, I hope so!
