the entire season, and said Clemson would never beat Mighty Alabama, the kings of the sec! Take a good hard look at the national title trophy, because it's something you've never gotten close to, or will ever see in your trophy case! 1969 ACC title must be real lonesome in there!!!!!!!!

Please let's report things correctly here.There is another trophy in that case.
The coots won the 1933 Southern Conference Championship as well.

in Greer after the celebration and the first people we see is a family finishing their chicken. Of course we were all in our Clemson gear (like we are every day), and the wife got up giving me the evil eye. My son said as they all walked out the Husband also gave him the stink eye. That's when he noticed the chicken on their little boys shirt. They hurried off with expressions looking like they were headed to their child's funeral. Pitiful, so pitiful. Might have even felt a little sorry for them if I didn't remember all the jeering for five long years.

Of course that's never an issue with Alabama, which is how they got to be Alabama. But there was nothing to indicate we didn't get their best shot. It's not like Bama went out there and laid an egg. You could argue we snuck up on them last season, but not this time around.
