I would guess the PFF ranking is almost right but Shipley goes before Thomas because of his injury history. So…

XT will be a steal at edge rusher for some team!
Shipley will be a steal too if he gets on a team with a good line!

So much of this is just wild speculation at this point. At the end of the day you can have the best player available but if the team that's on the draft clock need someone at a different position that can completely screw up where everybody gets selected. That's how you see a lot of reaches in my opinion. Also for Trotter, LB isn't quite what it was in the 80s and 90s. I still think he goes no worse than 2nd round, but lineman, CBs, and of course QBs are all where reaches seem to happen. a LB, WR, or RB? devalued more most years it seems. A LOT of value is found in those middle rounds and it costs way less

U always hear how fast Shipley is but he sure did get ran down alot. Mafah had all the long tds. I don't see Shipley doing much honestly. His running style prob won't translate, catches the ball average and fumbled more than any Clemson rb I've ever seen. That being said he's part of the family and I'll definitely be pulling for him. Go Tigers!!!
