A few observations;
1) I don’t remember the last time we were almost unanimously picked to lose a game, but especially at home. This has been a long time coming of what feels like erosion at certain positions.
2) Winning does a lot to cover flaws, but why is the excuse “FSU was looking ahead.” There’s a lot to unpack here:
First, are they not a team full of matured players? Should they know by now after 5 years of playing that you can’t look forward to other games?
Second, if Clemson is as bad as everyone says we are, why were they even looking ahead?
Third, I’m tired of this Duke game crap. I get we lost—it’s embarrassing. But we turn the ball over three times within the 10, two of those at the goal line. 108-1. We shouldn’t have lost that game.
Finally, why does nobody give any thought towards a new QB & OC being in the picture?! The entire offense has only played three games together under an entirely new scheme.
There are clearly some areas we need to improve, but I think we are being touted around unfairly given all of the circumstances. But time will tell. Win on Saturday and prove everybody wrong. Dabo likes being in a corner. Hopefully they’ll get it done.

You've been listening too much to the media. Look at the stats Clemson is ahead of FSU in total offense, 3rd down conv pct, completion pct, 1st down offense, rushing offense, total defense, 3rd down conv pct defense, 4th down conv pct def, defensive TDs, fewest penalties, 1st down defense, fumbles recovered, passing yrds allowed, RZ defense, rushing defense, scoring defense, team passing eff defense, tackles for loss, time of poss , and turnovers gained
We have the better team, they just had a hotter start. We will be just fine. 38-26 Clemson wins easily

Not surprised about this from these national sports talking heads. But on the other hand after 7 years FSU might finally have the talent to beat Clemson but if Clemson plays an error free game I think they can win in a close one.

These predictions sound like the prediction of the 2018 Clemson Bama matchup with Bama supposedly having the best offense than they've had in the history of Bama FB...
We will have to play a lot better than we played against Duke...Dabo made one very true statement when he said we done more than enough to win that game IF not for a list of bone headed mistakes. That was one game that nobody can argue against our team beat the crap out of themselves without it being anything special that Duke done with the exception of just taking what we gave them. And that is very clear in the condensed video below. The video will show that Clemson gave duke the game on a gold platter of crucial mistake after crucial mistake. Take away the crucial mistakes just when we had the ball, and we win by 2-3 TDs easy.

I'm just not sure what it would take for me to pick a rival team (maybe the biggest ACC-only rivalry) to win a game at Clemson right now, especially a hungry Clemson team that already has a loss & nothing left to lose.

I am a Clemson fan, but I don’t see them winning this game. This year, Clemson doesn’t hit hard and FSU does. Clemson is going to have to get the MEAN and NASTY back, real soon!
