But hey he is a super nice guy and we can't ever do any better so we should just keep him forever. His players love him and the facility upgrades are starting to pay off. This is what the logical members of TNET have been saying...we are on the bubble, even though we are sitting at first place in the conference. Maybe now that it's been officially written into an article, the sunshine pumpers will believe it.

I don't know, I don't follow hoops nearly as much as football but how you can we are on the "Bubble" being currently ranked 29th and leading the ACC? I know that a large number of spots are hard-wired in to the small schools but really????
Having said that - I did watch Saturday and frankly we were not very good. Maybe we are better than we looked but we could barely draw iron most of the time.

Because the AP poll is irrelevant. We are ranked 64 in the NET, which is the rating system the NCAA uses for team selection and seeding.

Good answer. The Net Ranking is what is important and Clemson keeps sliding. On a side note does anyone remember the email Graham Neff sent out concerning basketball and I believe there is an expectation that need to be in the NCAA or else someone’s job is on the line.

I hope Neff means it. I see at least three probable losses and only two probable wins on the remaining schedule. FSU and Syracuse will be the swing games.

Exceeded expectations. Now it feels like reality is starting to settle in. I have always wondered how well we and they would do with a coach swap like say Brownell with coach K when he was coaching. Just my own curiosity

That's about as well as I can realistically see us finishing. We would be 22-9 overall and 14-6 in the league. Unfortunately, we would also have numerous really bad losses and no great wins.
Do we need to spring an upset on the road ay UNC, State, or UVA?
